about Blackwood Press

Blackwood Press originated in February 2002 with the conception of The Blackwood Press DUB, a monthly literary magazine comprised of works contributed primarily by unpublished authors and visual artists from around the North Plains region of the United States. Though The Blackwood Press DUB went out of print in late 2003, the Blackwood Press label has endured to publish several books by a select few authors, and hopes to grow to add more artists, and to establish Blackwood Press Records, an American Society of Composers, Artists and Publishers (ASCAP) Member label under which will be discovered a small but growing multitude of musical and spoken-word audio works.
